Task
Implementation of an integrated project management system.
Solution
The company faced with the need to implement an integrated project management system, due to necessesity to build large constraction projects in a short time as part of the contract.
TOCTEAM experts conducted an analysis to identify similarities and differences in business related to the specifics of the industry, as well as with the principles of building information storage and accounting systems.
As a result, a calendar-network schedule based on the Microsoft Project was developed, which includes a financing plan, a procurement plan and a plan for construction and installation works.
Also, regulatory documents were developed as part of project implementation and monitoring, which correspond to new business processes and best international practices.
Result
Thus, the use of opportunities for collecting and analyzing information both within the project and in all strategic directions of the enterprise’s activity made it possible to hand over the object on time and with a project profitability of 15% instead an expected rate of 6%.
Such effect was achieved by the means of project office introduction, which is focused on consolidating all the necessary information. This enabled:
- Significantly reduce financial and administrative costs;
- Weekly consolidate the audited statements for all counterparties (subcontractors);
- Ensure timeliness of materials delivery to the construction;
- Efficient use of financial flows;
- Making promptly decisions on current issues.
